Solar Panel Mounting Sink Project
Solar Panel Mounting Sink Project
Share
This project aims to design and implement a reliable, cost-effective solar panel mounting sink system, which is a key component to fix solar panels on rooftops, ground or other surfaces. The mounting sink connects the panel frame to the support structure, ensuring stability, load-bearing capacity and long-term durability under various weather conditions (wind, rain, snow, etc.), while minimizing installation complexity and material costs.
Project Objectives:
First, develop a mounting sink that meets industry standards for load-bearing (resisting wind pressure and snow load) and corrosion resistance (adapting to outdoor environments). Second, optimize the design to reduce material usage without compromising performance, lowering production and installation costs. Third, complete prototype testing and small-batch trial installation to verify practicality and compatibility with different solar panel models.
Implementation Process:
The project is divided into 4 phases. Phase 1 (1-2 weeks): Conduct market research and demand analysis, collect data on existing mounting sink defects (e.g., easy rust, poor load capacity) and user needs. Phase 2 (2-3 weeks): Design the mounting sink, select high-quality galvanized steel or aluminum alloy as materials, optimize the structure (e.g., add reinforcing ribs) to enhance stability, and complete 3D modeling.
Phase 3 (2 weeks):
Produce prototypes, conduct laboratory tests (load-bearing, corrosion, durability) and on-site trial installation on a small rooftop solar system. Phase 4 (1 week): Summarize test results, adjust and improve the design, finalize the product, and compile installation guidelines.
Expected Outcomes:
A standardized solar panel mounting sink that meets industry standards, with corrosion resistance ≥ 10 years, load-bearing capacity ≥ 2.5kN/m². The product cost is reduced by 15% compared to existing similar products, and it is compatible with 80% of mainstream solar panel models. The project will provide a reliable supporting component for solar energy projects, promoting the popularization of renewable energy.
